Dormant Oil Treatments & Seasonal Timing

Many damaging insects spend the winter on the bark and branches of ornamental trees and shrubs, emerging when temperatures climb in spring. Our dormant oil applications target overwintering insects and their eggs before populations have a chance to develop.

We time these applications in late winter or early spring, around bud swell, when target insects are most exposed.
